| Well .. I dont post on this blog anymore but I just wanted to hop back on and say Thank You to everyone that came to teh birthday party.
I thought I had remembered everythign taht went on .... apparently I didn't.

I've decided to stop posting on Xanga. Blogging used to be fun but as of lately all im doing is bitching. Also, through Xanga I have the problem of not being able to control who I do and do not want to see what I am writing. From here on I'll be posting on my own private blog. If something funny comes up i'll be sure to post it here.

| Visited parents this weekend

yeah...
Got to play with my dad's new X-Box360.... went to hollywood video and rented Table Tennis .. yes, of all the supposed cool games out there for the X-Box I got Ping Pong.
Actually
turned out to be a pretty fun game. Reminds me of Virtua
Tennis for the Dreamcast. Also got to try out the Xbox Live
and downloaded a bunch of demos. Overall a pretty cool
system ... pretty fun to play .. but I think I'm still gonna wait on
the PS3 to come out.
Just finished watching Almost Heroes
... dear god .... what a horrible movie ....... so bad I cant even
comment on it outside of it just being a waste of 2 hours of my life.
The
weekend is over and thus starts a new week ... some pretty big things
are coming up and I really am not looking forward to this......... I
guess I should be thankful at least that the weather has been pretty
nice .. so hanging out at pier 11 and the seaport at night wont be as
shitty (last year I ended up getting sick a bunch of times >.<)

| Last week was definately one hell of a week .... On top of hearing news about my parents I got hit up with a lot of other things as well of which unfortunately I cannot really talk about.
As far as how my parents are doing. Looks like my mom is doing a lot better now, the vertigo type symptoms she was suffering from appears to be related to stress. Can't blame her really especially after hearing the news about my Dad. But she seems to be handling it a lot better now.
I had spoken with my parents today and really ... my father has got the be one of the coolest people I know. Even with the knowledge that he will be getting a lot sicker soon he seems to be keeping a positive attitude about it. A funny part of the conversation was that my dad had told me he was gonna stop being cheap and start enjoying life. With that being said he went out and bough some flat panel monitors for himself with some surround sound for his computer. On top of that he is building himself a nice little media center and to top it off he is going to buy an X-Box 360. I chuckled when I heard this but he told me he was primarily buying it for the media center capabilities rather than playing games. But definately the best comment of the night was "Well I don't plan on playing any games on this thing but I kinda wan't to try out like what you and your brother do when you play games online. Which is to put on some headphones and start screaming FUCK SHIT FUCK FUCKING BULLSHIT!!!! FUCK!! FUCKING CHEATER at people" LOLOL .. hahahaha
Pretty cool ... I myself would never buy one myself but I have definately been intersted in playing some of the games. So now i have some cool games to play when my parents goto sleep when i start visiting them every couple weeks
Went to Otakon this weekend with a couple friends which turned out to be a lot of fun minus a small mishap with our hotel arrangements. I am really glad these friends had convinced me to go. It was definately something I could have used especially after such a crappy week.
On top of that we got to eat 2 dozen ginormous crabs at a crab house while listenning to old people karaoke in a bar. It was a lot of fun.... Thanks L, J, and H  I had a great time
