The Kamikazes : Suicide Squadrons of World War II
By Edwin P. Hoyt

Meh ... ive been extremely bored lately .. enough to the point where I am even posting in my blog o.O

So whats new you ask? not much really... ssdd (same shiznit different day).  Work, go home, play games.

Last week though I did get .. well i wouldnt necessarily call it harassed .. more like inconvenienced by the wonderful members of the Bayonne Police Department.

While sitting, waiting for the light rail (NJ Trolly System) to goto work a police officer was walking through the stop checking through peoples bags.  He gets up to me and asks to search mine.  So i close my cook and begin to open my bag.

The officer looks down and sees that I am reading a book titled "The Kamikazes: Suicide Squadrons of World War II" and asks me to step aside.  He escorts me to his police car, grabs my ID's, gets in his car and makes me wait standing next to it.  Keep in mind this was on that wednesday last week where it was super humid and hot.

So after about 20 minutes of sweating my balls of he comes back out and starts to question me about why I am reading a book about suicide attacks.  I just point out that its a history book not an instruction manual.

He gets back in his car .. 30 minutes later .. he is questioning me as to why my finger prints are on file.  I just shrug my shoulders, another police car pulls up, the officer gets back in his car.  20 minutes after that he comes back out and says "We couldnt find any record for you are you in the military?"

I explained to him that I used to be and that he probably has my fingerprints because I have a security clearance.  Back in the car again .. 10 minutes later.  He comes back out "okay you can go now"

Thats it .. gee thanks .. now i get to goto work a couple hours late sweatting my ass off from standing outside the car the entire time.  Oh well ....

Hrrm... what else.... oh I saw something this morning on the train that i found pretty amusing.  The lightrail pulls up to a train station and I see 2 japanese guys getting ready to board the train.

The first one bows and gestures for the other one to go first.  The 2nd nods his head bows and gestures for the first one to go in first.  This goes back and forth for about 30 seconds.  Then the door closes and the train moves on with those two idiots looking at each other as the train pulls away.  It guess it doesnt pay to be overly polite in some cases.
